System Requirements

• macOS 15 Sequoia or later
• Apple Silicon or Intel Mac

Download

1. Visit getbarry.app and click Download Barry
2. Open the downloaded Barry.dmg file
3. Drag Barry to your Applications folder

First Launch

1. Open Barry from your Applications folder
2. Grant Accessibility when prompted — this is what lets the keyboard shortcuts work system-wide
3. Grant audio capture when prompted. macOS phrases it as recording because of the API involved; Barry never records anything. See the FAQ for why the prompt says what it says.
4. Barry will appear in your menu bar

Updating

Barry uses Sparkle for automatic updates. You’ll be notified when a new version is available.
